History of Rillion reeds From 1978-1987 Rillion Reeds was
known as the Golden Snake Reeds Company. Originally located in Beijing,
the company eventually moved to Mongolia where the climate was
appropriate for reed making.
Over the next 29 years Rillion would establish itself as the premier reed manufacturer in Asia. In 1987, the name of the company was changed to "Beijing Sigma Musical instruments Co.,ltd." It was at this point Rillion concentrated on reed manufacture and made its name throughout the industry and in Asia. The founder, Mr. Yaun Gao, has relentlessly improved the quality and consistency of the reeds. His single minded obsession with quality has made Rillion what it is today. In 1993 Rillion Reeds was born. Today, Rillion provides reeds for both top national symphonies in China. Artists for the China National Symphony Orchestra and the China Broadcasting Symphony Orchestra use Rillion Reeds exclusively. |
