Performance Marketing Manager to Rillion

Area of Responsibility

As our Performance Marketing Manager, you’ll take the lead on driving paid growth and acquisition. You’ll own this area end-to-end: identifying new channels, experimenting with what works, and optimizing constantly to reach the right audiences and deliver conversions with a healthy ROI.

Your mission? To grow traffic and conversions across paid channels (e.g., paid social, paid search, PPC, native), while also building awareness of our brand across markets (EMEA and US).

You’ll work hand-in-hand with the Director of Demand Gen, Revenue Operations, Marketing Operations, Web & CRO Manager, as well as content creators making performance marketing a strong growth engine for the business. We keep Performance Marketing inhouse at Rillion, i.e. we don’t work with any external agencies for paid search or paid social.

What you’ll be doing

  • Shape and execute our performance marketing strategy in collaboration with the CMO and Director of Demand Gen
  • Take the lead on hands-on execution of paid marketing activities across channels, i.e., Ideation and concept, content creation, target audience set-up, bidding and Implementation
  • Plan, launch, and optimize campaigns that drive traffic, pipeline, and conversions
  • Design, run, and scale A/B and multivariate experiments to continuously improve results
  • Use AI-driven tools and platforms to sharpen targeting, bidding, creative testing, and reporting
  • Work closely with Sales Development and Product Marketing to ensure campaigns hit the right audience with the right message
  • Dive deep into customer behavior across channels and use insights to refine strategy
  • Set ambitious targets, manage budgets, optimize tracking and attribution (e.g., Hubspot, Dreamdata) and track KPIs to keep performance on point
  • Report regularly on results and learnings to the CMO, Director of Demand Gen and Marketing Ops
  • Keep a close eye on key performance metrics such as traffic, high-intent MQLs, pipeline, conversions, CPL, CPA, and ACV
  • Manage external stakeholders, i.e., LinkedIn/Google/Microsoft account managers, Native campaign booking and management, Dreamdata customer success and G2 account mgmt.
  • Keep up to date with the latest news and trends within performance marketing and paid acquisition for us to be on top when it comes to digital marketing.

Success Metrics

  • Pipeline Contribution & Lead Quality (hi intent MQLs, SQLs, Pipe, ARR won)
  • Cost Efficiency (CPL, and CAC, CAC Payback (in collaboration with RevOps/Finance)
  • Return on Ad Spend (ROAS)
  • Contribution to pipeline (sourced and influenced pipeline $)
  • Conversion rate from paid traffic → demo/sign-up/free trial/etc.
  • Performance by channel (search, social, etc.)
  • % of spend within target budget
  • Efficiency gains from optimization (e.g., lowering CPL while scaling volume)
