Senior Java Software Engineer – Stockholm, Sweden
Are you looking for a change into something new, yet familiar? Do you bring a baggage of heavy Java and backend knowledge, loaded with Spring, databases, cloud environments and system design? We have a spot for you, so keep reading!
We’re a small but leading SaaS company building Accounts Payable products that help our customers automate and streamline their processes. We’ve been here for quite some time but we’re growing and expanding into new markets. Our roadmap is packed with things we want to do, and there are a lot of opportunities for making an impact both technically and business-wise.
Our engineering department is divided into autonomous product teams that use agile methods to deliver value on a continuous basis. We’re now looking to extend a product team with a Java backend or full stack developer, that can help us build the next generation of our system.
We expect you to have a pragmatic approach to development, to have an interest in learning new things and to bring ideas to our discussions. We run our applications in Azure, so cloud knowledge is a big advantage.
Must-haves:
- A degree within IT/computer science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience with Java and Spring
- CI/CD experience
- Experience working with agile development methods
- Demonstrated skills in collaboration and team engagement
- A mindset of continuously learning and improving
- A passion for staying updated with the latest trends in technology
- Good verbal and written communication; in English (must) and Swedish (preferably)
Nice-to-haves:
- JavaScript and frontend development experience
- Experience migrating into microservices
- Database optimization experience
- Experience with A/B-testing and experimentation platforms
